Irish drinks companies scooped up three of the eight awards at the prestigious Bord Bia Food & Drinks Awards today, which Drinks Ireland says highlights the innovative nature of Ireland’s drinks industry.
HEINEKEN Ireland won the Sustainable Project Impact Award and Diageo Ireland won the Diversity and Inclusion Award. Meanwhile, Leitrim’s The Shed Distillery, which makes Gunpowder Irish Gin, won the hugely competitive Brand Marketing Award.
Patricia Callan, Director of Drinks Ireland, which represents drinks companies in Ireland said:
“Ireland’s drinks industry is at the cusp of innovation - from sustainable business and production practices, to diversity and inclusion initiatives, to world-class marketing. It’s fantastic to see this being recognised today by Bord Bia and I would like to congratulate HEINEKEN Ireland, Diageo Ireland and The Shed Distillery for their successes at the awards.”
